DAY OF THE DEAD

Yes - I am a few days late with this specific ATC - but better late then never I say!!!
This is my ATC to honor
La Dia de las muertas. In the catholic church it is known as
All Saints Day....but being of spanish heritage I so much prefer Las Muertas.
It is a beautiful way to honor those we love by celebrating a day to welcome their spirit home among their loved ones!!
TONS of preparations go on - great food - great music...you get the idea I am sure!
So this card is my way of celebrating the day! At least it is my version!
Tho he does look really scared...lol!

Okay - I thought I would answer a few questions here about my ATC cards....
The size is 2.5 x 3.5 - very small - I create my cards digitally because for me - it gives me much more freedom - and flexibility!
The images I use I have collected from groups I am in, all over the internet, etc...I did not create the images themselves - I just use several different images and put them together like a collage (
which is the basis behind ATC cards-mini collage art works)
This is my entry for day 4 of AEDM...
Thanks for stopping by and looking!!!

Digital art can be so fun and libreating. Actually digital scrapbooking led me to digital art (no mess or supplies needed) yet now I am somehow back into hands on art fo r the time being. Love your ATC.
