PINK AND FLOWERY

Here is a digital painting I did from a photo a friend sent to me….to me it feels light and airy…I like that…I know I have a long way to go in digital painting but I am liking the process of growing and learning as I do each one. Of course it does not hurt that pink is one of my favorite colors…LOL.

Today is day 3 of my two November challenges…so far so good…I think I am getting the hang of it…I am enjoying the completion of my art work..right now I think that is the only thing that is keeping me energized…hmmm – immediate gratification works for me…lol.

SPRINGTIME - ATC CARD

This next ATC card is quite bright in color - can you tell I like the color pink? LOL
The colors make me feel like spring time - just when everything is blooming,
and the birds are singing along.
Just as a side note - it is day 10 of AEDM and NABLOPOMO..time is just
flying by - I think the most difficult part of participating in anything
for 30 straight days is keeping the creative ideas flowing....
I am no expert in it - wish I had the answers on how to keep things
flowing along - but when things do keep going - I find I am
happiest because I am doing something to move my art forward.
I am probably not making much sense but hopefully you get the idea.

PINK CHAMPAGNE

I am starting to meet so many lovely people through AEDM. Makes me feel really positive about doing these challenges. It is so easy for someone like me, who suffers from severe depression, to get overwhelmed easily - but this is my third year participating in AEDM and this year seems to be filled with more people who reach out to others. The creativity that I have noticed so far just amazes me..I am in awe~!~ Truly I would love a tenth of the talent that I have seen - just amazing. Here is my painting for today: Someone told me it was called "Pink Champagne". I like the name. I also love the pink in it - bright and fun. I am pretty happy with the results - do not worry - I will not be just painting all month - I am going to mix it up a bit because I do not want to feel pressured or bored with only creating one way... So I hope you enjoy my new flower - can you just smell it - LOL. Thanks for stopping by - HAPPY CREATING~!~

ATC-SNOW GIRL PRINCESS

Another ATC created without using any quotes.....I really like this one...
love the pink hues....and the crown on the snowgirl.
I like the idea that it is simple....I can always add a quote or wording
to it at a later time if I find an occasion to. Love the flowers and the little hearts!
It is over cute...lol.
Pink to me - is a happy color!

I have not seen a snowman in over 20 years - so this is my version and probably as
close as I will ever get again to any snowperson...lol!

PINK 5 PETAL FLOWER AND AN AWARD

Okay - perhaps I am a bit obsessed with pink...I just cannot help myself.
I saw a photo of this flower and could not get it painted fast enough...took about 4 or so hours..but I absolutely LOVE the results....what a great pink...what a simple flower that just
makes me feel good and smile...I really am quite happy with it!!! (can you tell?)
I know this may sound wishy washy - but I truly believe that nature is truly God showing us miracles everyday...such beauty - such simplicity - and the fragrances are outstanding..
to me that all means a miracle..something to remind us - that beauty is everywhere and can be seen in everything!!!

SIMPLE PINK ROSE

I found a rose (my favorite flower) and just had to make a digital painting of it.
I am quite proud of myself for the way it turned out....took a few days to create it..and the
results make me very happy!!!

Of course the pink is the color of the week it seems...lol

BABY PINK GERBERA

As you probably already know - if you have been following my blog here
I absolutely love bright colors - and one of my favs is Pink....so that
is what attracted me to a photo with this pink gerbera.
Of course I just had to digitally paint it...
Makes me happy looking at it...so cute...cheerful!!

PINK SNOWFLAKE

I am running a bit behind today.....massive headache...I think it is because of the huge
weather change we have had here in Florida.....it went from the high 70's and 80's to 28 degrees.
I love the cold weather because I can breathe easier in it....but it seems that with such a temperature drop and the changes in the atmospheric pressure I always get these dang headaches....I have taken way more then I should have to get rid of it and nothing is helping..(that is how I know it is the weather also)...so I have been resting all day but that is also not helping at all.
So I figured I would get online and post my art before friday comes.
Art Every Day is my motto...lol
So I made the above creation just playing again as usual...and to me it looks like a pink snowflake.. (hence the name).
I really like the vibrant pink it is...where the grey came from is beyond me but I like it all.
I am keeping up with my photo taking....today it was a picture of our little heater...lol..so pathetic looking but it kept the puter room (where we hang out) nice and toasty warm. The heater definitely explains my whole day - stay warm and ignore the headache!

BUBBLY - PINK - AND VIBRANT

I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC Christmas...mine was marvelous...I received many
surprises and we ate until we could not move....it was all perfect!
Yesterday - we just relaxed from all the build up to actual Christmas...being lazy is a good thing.
I am back to creating...well at least online to show you...for the last two days I have
been working on a few other creations...and I will show you them when they are done.
The above image just fascinated me...the colors is stunning to me...a VERY vibrant pink...
kind of bubbly to me. Again soft lines...I really like it...you can click on the image to see
the actual size...it looks nice bigger.
Of course I played just a little bit more and this is what happened:

Now the center reminded me of two things...one being a flower and the other being
a mandala...I really like it either way....
Both images really surprised me...definite eye catchers.
I think I will submit these to MaryAnn's Handmade Monday Challenge which is COLOR...
(which these are definitely full of color)

IN THE PINK AND UPDATES

In the Pink!!!! Well onto brighter colors...this one was fun...I think it looks like a flower
blooming inside the star...I do like the soft edges on it..and the pink hues
I really enjoyed playing with it...then of course I decided to play with the amount of
"orbits" in a kaleidoscope...so here is another one that was done differently:

The whirly orbits around the outside are different...and the inside totally changed...
looks like little embellishments have been added and a flower shrunk in the middle...it actually has a feel of celtic to me...and I just love celtic things.
I have also noticed that in both - the whitish green tint almost makes it look
like gold in color from a distance...just the little outlines around the image,
which to me just adds to the magic of the images!!
I like the way it all turned out...and had fun doing it all.

PINK ROSE BLOT STARS - KALEIDOSCOPE

I made this one yesterday afternoon...I call it rose blot star. Love the patterns in
this one...used a couple of different filters...and I think it came out better then others.
I like the different pink rose hues in it....
I also played some more with even more filters and created this one:

It kind of looks like the first one but the colors to me look more melted...swirly.
I also like the effects in it....both pieces make me happy...I just keep experimenting and
really have been enjoying the process.

I think I will enter these two pieces in the new creative prompt from HANDMADE MONDAY
which is...PINK....any hue of pink...I like it!!!

PAINTING-PINK DAISY

I am now experimenting with digital painting...this one was using the spray gun tool...
It took a while to get the colors right and the depth I wanted but I am quite pleased
with the outcome.
