ATC-LOVE IS YOU

Here is another ATC I had created during my break. Again kind of simple but I like
the pinks in it - (I am a big fan of pink).
I also love the little fairy in it - too cute!
This is my entry for CED for today! I am still working on the same digital painting
I have been doing since September but for me it just is not moving fast enough for me!
Hopefully I can get that done soon so I can move along to another one!

ATC-CHERISH

Just thought I would show you all another ATC I had completed...I so love the lil girl in it. Now I really like the way this one turned out - love the happy colors in it...lol. Of course this is my entry today for CED...love being creative!

Have been still doing some major surfing. Just looking for inspiration and ideas and such... I seem to be on a kick about it lately. Have found tons of stuff on halloween.... SPIDER CRAFTS. The site is from Better Homes and Garden - you can just surf away at their site.. but the link above is a good place to start!

GREAT LOVE

I really like the way this fairy came out however - uploading it to blogger only made it fuzzy...blurry....so please click on the image to see what it really looks like...
I made this one quickly...still very much under the weather....(I am fighting a kidney infection
of some sort...so please send some positive energy and prayers my way....I think I would be able
to handle things if I did not have a fever - but that is also hanging on.)
Of course I had to work some pink in....yay...

WISH UPON A STAR

Just playing around in paint shop pro and I really liked this fairy so I made the ATC card.
It is pretty simple looking - but to be honest - I do not have alot of energy to sit at the
computer right now - still feeling down...GEEZ - this is driving me crazy!!!

MARDI GRAS

It is monday - and a brand new challenge has been prompted by Mary Ann over at
HANDMADE MONDAY...the challenge is MARDI GRAS....ah yes - big party time.
So I made this ATC as my entry for the challenge and it is also my entry today for CED.
I know the ATC is sort of plain - but I like all the colors...and the double mask - one of my favorite images!!!
So that is it....not much going on -

WONDERS - ATC

I so love the beach - I love the sounds of the ocean even more - it is so soothing and relaxing
and peaceful to me....I could just sit for hours and listen to the ocean and be in total bliss.
Living in the sunshine state definitely helps...also did you know that the ocean air is EXTREMELY healthy for you....especially those that suffers from lung problems...hmmm - good stuff to know.
So I wanted to share a bit of that with you all here - sorry my ATC is not more creative - I am feeling really bad - the pain and fever are not stopping...there is truly nothing the doctors
can do - I take everything there is on the market (by prescription) so I am stuck sort of speak.
Please send some positive vibes and prayers my way - it would be greatly appreciated.

ONE HAPPINESS - ATC

I have had a fever for the last 36 hours - so I just do not have the energy to sit and paint
for hours...but I wanted to create something - I feel if I stop - then the flow will stop - and then one day will turn into several and that will turn into weeks and so on...so I decided to create
an ATC card - I saw the image above and just had to do something with it!
It is all simple but I do like the way it turned out....
I am going to go lay down again...I hope you all have a
SUPER saturday...

VINTAGE ATCS - DREAMS AND LOVE

I have been playing around with vintage images and ATCs lately. The top image
is about dreams - I like the colors in it - warm.
The one below I did a few weeks back:
I like the vintage look and all - but something is missing in it and I just don't know what.

TRIBUTE TO ARTISTS-CHALLENGE

Mary Ann over at HANDMADE MONDAY - has a new challenge for this week - which is a TRIBUTE to our favorite artist....Well - I have two...Warhol and Monet...
So - the top of page I create my version of a Warhol look....I like manipulating my personal
photos and doing different colors and textures on them...so that is very Warhol to me.
Then I did this one:
Monet has a painting called Iris in Yellow and Mauve...which is one of my favorites...and
I tried to mimic it in colored pencils above. Nothing like Monet but a tribute none the less.
This was a fun challenge - and this is also my entry for CED.

LOVE YOU LIKE CRAZY - ATC

The last 24 hours have been hard....really feeling bad now - I can pretty much handle things except for pain....I have no tolerance for pain....and the pain is driving me crazy...
BUT ENOUGH OF THAT....
I only mention it in case I happen not to get on for a day or two....
The above is an ATC card I did for Valentine's Day...just playing around - wanted to create
something bright, colorful and cute....

YELLOW TULIP

Okay - I am stuck on yellow...at least for the last two days...but I saw this tulip and just
had to paint it....it was calling my name...lol.
Love the yellow....love the way it came out...super simple looking but I could almost smell it..
LOVE IT!!!

Still sleeping quite a bit...but that is ok....I think my body was starving for the rest.
Schools are open again (after a 5 day vacation) so the house should be a bit more quieter now.

YELLOW DAISY

Now this is a daisy - so mellow yellow...lol.
I love the yellow in it....love all the petals....this flower took me about 8 hours to complete.
It is A LOT bigger then shown above - which is why it took me so long.
I am very happy with the results...very satisfied that I got it finished.

Spent yesterday watching football - New England Patriots winning was a no brainer but
it broke my heart that Green Bay lost...but I am thrilled for the hometown New York Giants..
Should be a great SuperBowl.

Today it is only 43 in the sunshine state. Cold but to me it feels great!!!
Hopefully I will start to feel better soon...

PURPLE DAISY

WOW - look at that great purple color....don't ya just love it!!!
Purple really makes me happy....I seem to have a slight fetish with it...lol
I thought this one came out fairly decent - took about 6 hours to paint...but when I was finished
I was very pleased with the results and really like the purple.
Still feeling down and out right now...heading back to bed...
I will however be up later to watch FOOTBALL....I love both Green Bay and the Giants...but
I really would love to see Brett Favre win the superbowl.

SINGLE STEM ROSE

I just had to paint a rose - as I am sure I have said before - they are my favs...
I love the color of the rose in this one - it just makes the flower pop.
A single stemmed rose - such beauty.

BLUEBERRY COLORED FLOWER

Isn't this just the most simpliest yet beautiful blueberry color flower?
It caught my eye and of course that meant I just had to paint it.
I love the blue/purple colors in it and how they just pop out of the image!
This one did not take too long...but for some reason - my puter kept freezing while I was
painting it...hmmm...I have no idea why!
I did manage to update our collaborative blog (A Mother & Daughter Prospective)...also this is my entry for today's CED!!

ORANGE CACTUS FLOWER

Yes - I completed another digital painting. This one took about 6 or more hours (give or take).
I love the orange hues in it....it is a flower from a cactus...so cool!
The original of this one is BIG BIG...but trust me it looks much better at this size.
I am very happy with the results...and when I had finished with it - I felt so relieved yet fulfilled if that makes any sense..
This is definitely my entry for CED - yayayay.

COLOR AND MOOD CHALLENGE

Anke over at CREATIVE SPIRITS CONNECT - has a new challenge this month
it is - Colors and Moods...what colors invoke what mood within you!!
Check out her site to see what the challenge is all about....The above image I just manipulated
6 colors - they are 2 inches by 2 inches and typed out how each color makes me feel - the mood that it stirs in me (at least for today)....I thought it look pretty cool....but of course I had to go one more then that so I created this:
This creation is 8 inches by 8 inches with a quote from Cyndi Lauper on TRUE COLORS..
which I thought was appropriate.
You can click on either image to see them a bit larger - I had to scale them down to put them
here on the blog.
I really liked this challenge...I really feel that colors do invoke moods, attitudes but more importantly - I think that our moods or attitudes show up in the colors we use!!!

OWL - ATC CARDS

Today I worked on some ATC's -(artist trading cards). Mary Ann over at HANDMADE MONDAY - has a creative prompt this week and it is - OWLS...
So that was my inspiration....the top card has an Owl flying into the scene...I like all
the elements because it is so spring like - so colorful - and with all the blizzards and such
happening around the country - I wanted to make it something bright and colorful.
Bloom Where You Are Planted - is GREAT advice - !!!
Of course I was on an Owl roll - and found another Owl I wanted to do something with
and this is what I came up with:

An Owl and child owl sharing a moment....they look happy...and love does bring them
comfort. I really liked the image...and the crumbled paper gives it a different like of dimension to it.
I am quite pleased with my ATC creations....They are my entries for both CED and HANDMADE MONDAY!!!!

PINK 5 PETAL FLOWER AND AN AWARD

Okay - perhaps I am a bit obsessed with pink...I just cannot help myself.
I saw a photo of this flower and could not get it painted fast enough...took about 4 or so hours..but I absolutely LOVE the results....what a great pink...what a simple flower that just
makes me feel good and smile...I really am quite happy with it!!! (can you tell?)
I know this may sound wishy washy - but I truly believe that nature is truly God showing us miracles everyday...such beauty - such simplicity - and the fragrances are outstanding..
to me that all means a miracle..something to remind us - that beauty is everywhere and can be seen in everything!!!

SIMPLE PINK ROSE

I found a rose (my favorite flower) and just had to make a digital painting of it.
I am quite proud of myself for the way it turned out....took a few days to create it..and the
results make me very happy!!!

Of course the pink is the color of the week it seems...lol
