JOY XMAS TREE - ATC CARD

Today has been a bit busy with getting some things ready for Thanksgiving.
It is just going to be my hunnie and our daughter and myself - very peaceful
but we love the put on a spread - LOL.
I am still working on some zentangles and mandalas....I am thoroughly
enjoying the process - and doing something so new and different is
really making me feel good.
My daughter is off from school starting today (I thought it was yesterday) so she
said she would do all the pics and upload everything for me - so
then you will see what I am talking about...hopefully you will not be
disappointed.
Here is another ATC card celebrating Christmas:

Just a simple Christmas tree - not overly done with
decorations...just a tree of Joy!

CHRISTMAS SANTA - ATC CARD

WOW - I just realized that the holidays are flying by so soon - geez
scares me to death that the end of the year is not so far away-
But I will admit that this time of year is my favorite - love the decorations
and music and the feeling of giving in the air--it is wonderful!
So here is my newest ATC card to start off my holiday time of year:


I thought it was a bit whimsical/cutsey - something fun to start
off the holidays and play around.
Hopefully Santa will find some humor in it also - LOL...gotta stay on the
good side of the list..LOL

ATC-O XMAS TREE

I am getting into the Christmas spirit - so I thought I would create
an ATC card just for that reason!!!
I am so not into all the hustle and bustle - but I love having any kind of Christmas
tree up at my house (this year we have a small one)...and seeing gifts under it for others...
and the lights on the tree glowing away!
Just so much fun!

I know the card is simple but so the holiday should be too!

CHRISTMAS AND MORE

I actually managed to create a kaleidoscope with Christmas colors.
I shocked myself. lol The top image (at least to my daughter and I) looked like a
Christmas bulb - I really like the yellow and orange center - I could not get the image
to come up any bigger but I think if you click on it - you will see the original size..
to me it just has some cool effects.
Then I created the next one:

This one looked like a Christmas pointsetta...(again to my daughter and I) and now
the yellow in the middle looks like the pistons of a flower (isn't that what the center
of a flower is called - brain spaz here).
Now - the next two may have black in them but I really liked the mixture of black
and yellow because the two colors together fascinate me for some
unknown reason...how these two colors popped in I have no idea...again
just going with the flow:

This first one reminds me so much of Aztec symbols....
I was so pleased with the results - it does not make me feel
sad or dark...I feel like I created something from the past...
Then of course I had to add a few filters to keep playing and I came up
with this last one:

I know it may sound strange but to me it felt like I was swimming in the
middle of bumble bees...and they are just whizzing by as I go closer and closer to
the center....(personally I am allergic to bees and really dislike even seeing them)
but bees is what I see...
So does anyone see anything or nothing?

RED PANSY AND THE START OF CHRISTMAS

Here is my next creation....a red pansy...digitally painted.
Believe it or not - I LOVE the way it came out.
Took me a few days to paint it...I almost gave up...but now I am glad I did not.
The color is so vibrant...and it really makes me feel good looking at it.
This is a good thing.
This is my entry for Day 26 of AEDM. This is the last week of AEDM...I am amazed
that I have hung in there and quite proud of myself...I know it is not over yet but
having lasted this long is an accomplishment for me that is unreal...
Now the holiday buzz for Christmas is in the air...has anyone finished their shopping?
I almost have everything...one son is extremely difficult to buy for so I have no idea
what to do..I even managed to order photo Christmas cards (with a photo I took) and
will fill them out and mail them this week. (a box of 25 with envelopes in one day from Walgreens for $5 - what a deal) (they came out GREAT) - when I get a chance I will
upload a pic of the card.
So anyone have any simple - fast - Christmas ideas/gifts to do....I was
thinking of decorating glass votive candles holders with polymer clay - but I need more ideas.
I created a homemade calendar for the grandparents of both sides using pictures
of the kids...but I also like to make little extras to give also for whomever.
