I would LOVE to have one of these scanners...great for organizing receipts...the load of paperwork sitting on my desk....even great artwork my nephew has made for me....so many ways of using this wonderful tool....

Just playing around in paint shop pro and came up with image after manipulating
a couple of filters..I think it came out grand!!!

filters and manipulating the settings and made my own digital mosaic...I just like the effect.

COLORIZED LILLY

I took a picture of a calla lilly in my garden a while back and decided to manipulate the photo with different filters in paint shop pro....
I really like the different effects...so I combined all the different filters done with the photo and this is the result.
I like it alot!!!!

The top one is the original one..the bottom is the same using several different filters including BW...I really like how both turned out.

I have discovered that the more simplier the picture the better it looks digitally painted.

I used a smaller brush...it took me quite awhile...but it was worth it.

I digitally painted this of my two cockatiels...however I am still working on perfecting
the more detailed areas like eyes and beaks and such...but for my first try...I think it came out
fairly decent...
Their names are Spike (grey one) and Angel.

MAGNOLIA-DIGITALLY PAINTED

I painted this digitally using the thick chalk tool...
I think it gives it a feathery affect...not too sure how I feel about it
but at least I tried another way to create.

Another great pic I found when surfing the internet...
Digitally painted using the spray gun....
I have found that when the finished product is smaller and seen
from a distance away...it looks so much more better.
I am really enjoying this medium and way of expression.

I found this picture on the internet and decided to paint it....this is painted digitally.

The further away you get from the pic the better it looks...I used the spray gun feature.

I think I am getting the hang of it! I like the warm colors.

PAINTING-PINK DAISY

I am now experimenting with digital painting...this one was using the spray gun tool...
It took a while to get the colors right and the depth I wanted but I am quite pleased
with the outcome.

I created this atc card in psp 8 using gothic type tubes and some accents..
no filters were used on this image!

These are the same atc card...just used different filters to get different effects...

not sure which one I like the most...then again I like them all!!

Some filters used were: pastel, shattered, and watercolor.
